Chaos

All around me it's chaos
Confusion and indecision
Then she appears with a few words
And with a sigh I know what she means

I want to rage against the world
Get drunk and scream at the sky
Her calmness in an instant stills me
And with a sigh I am at ease

My thoughts are rushed and heady
I forget just how to breathe
She tells me "calm now girl"
And in a second I fall at her feet

I want to fight against her
For the words I need to hear
